I will be attending a meeting / dinner / fundraiser event that is being hosted for Barbara Norton and Lupe Marroquin, both of whom are running for State House. They are looking to have some discussions with community members to talk about issues pertinent to cyclists - transportation planning and park use being two of the big topics of the night, I believe.
If you would like to come and have a voice, please contact me at nine-oh-seven-seven-two-seven-six-three-three-two, or post on the forum. Or show up at my house. This is coming up on Thursday at 5:30, and I am hoping to have a group ride from my house (1045 W20th Ave) to head over to the event.
As this is a fundraiser as well as a forum for discussion, there is a request that you consider bringing your wallet or checkbook ... any donation would be appreciated.
I don't think that it needs to be said, but this is entirely a person event and is in no way an endorsement of either candidate by OTCC or the bike club. |
